If you walk down a narrow trail down the edge of this cliffe you will eventually come across a hidden entrance to one of Team Obsidians's many labs. Orginally used to conduct research it has been turned into a makeshift lab designed to see team members off on their journey, as well as a recruitment place for those who have found their way here.
Arriving you will be seen to by Doctor Onyx, or an Obsidian scientist. You don't get a choice of pokemon, you just got whatever is available at that point in time, however there is a chance of it being rare. In fact the rumours are that the only thing they won't give away to the normal recruits are pseudo-lgendary lines, or legendaries. Those are reserved for those who are an important part of their plan.
Once they've chucked the random pokeball your way, you will be hacked onto the trainer register and be given a special black version of the pokedex which can also relay missions to you. You will also recieve a starter pack randomly cobbled together for you.
