Info About Plots

Okay, basic rundown on plots. This is for those which take part in the seperate plot board, in areas outside the main route.

When a new one, or the next part of one, is starting up I will post a sign-up thread in this board with information about it. Those who want to join in can post back with the characters they'll be using. Occasionally there will be a limit on what you can use, but that information will be in that plot thread.

When the plot starts it will be in the catagory below the Elite Four. Information on what to do will be posted in the info/sign-up thread.
You just post in the thread you're supposed to, if theres more than one, and we can go from there.

In terms of how levels and things work -

• Any new pokemon you catch, any items you get you keep and use normally, but only in terms of the plot thread. They can't appear in your current journey thread.
  
• Pokemon will not gain levels. However you must keep track of what levels you would have gained. I'll probably post a thread to help aid with that, if you wish.
  
• The same for catching pokemon in a journey thread. Gained levls do appear in a journey thread, but not in the plot thread.
  
• After the plot has finished, you gain any left over items, pokemon and levels the next time you start a new route/enter a city. This makes it as if the plot took part between the two areas.
  

I hope it's not that confusing. It's mainly to avoid the mix up of levels, and pokemon suddenly appearing, etc. Although it's not perfect of course.
If it doesn't work the system will change.

This of course means that you can have both a plot thread and a journey thread going on at once.

Later on there will be another kind of plot which could invade journey threads, and take part in certain areas. These can basically be joined in by anyone in that area. More information will be posted when they start.
